Warehouse Mail SorterThe Job Center is hiring for associates on 1st and 3rd shift for warehouse mail sorters in the City of Grand Prairie, TX area. This is a great opportunity for a temp to hire placement. Compensation/Shift/Benefits of warehouse mail sorter:1st Shift Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm $16.503rd Shift Tuesday – Saturday 12:30am – 8:30am $18.50Will be required to work overtime as needed this will include off days and weekends as well when neededBenefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTOEligibility for the Work and Win Program – Rent/Mortgage paid for a yearClimate-controlled and weekly pay!Responsibilities of Mail SorterPrepare outgoing metered mail by reviewing proper date, postage and barcodesCommunicate errors and recognize bad barcodes found in the mailTroubleshoot and remove mail piece jams from machineThis is a very physical role with a lot of bending, twisting and consistently lifting 35 lb mail trays – this is not a light duty positionThis environment is very dustyRequirements of Mail SorterBasic enough understanding of English to be able to understand and follow safety and other operational directions communicated in English, irrespective of their native languageThe ability to work overtime which includes weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or potential no advance noticeMust have 1+ year of fast-paced warehouse experience.The ability to be dependable and reliable.Physical demands and ability- lift up to 50 lbs and walk, stand stoop and bend 80% of the time.APPLY by clicking Apply Now or come to 3328 Harwood Rd Bedford, TX 76021 between 8am-5pm Monday thru Friday.
