A strong commitment to exceptional client service is essential.This is an on-site position in Wamego, Kansas 66547. Remote and hybrid work options are not available.This is a regular, full-time position working 30+ hours per week and is eligible for benefits.However, we're open to offering a flexible schedule for the right candidate who is currently attending school. If the agreed-upon schedule is less than 30 hours per week or requires extended time off for school, the position would not be eligible for benefits.Our goal is to find someone who wants to grow with the company and become a long-term member of our team.The legal intern provides administrative and clerical support to all legal staff, ensuring the efficient handling of legal matters related to real estate, corporate representation, estate planning, and probate, as well as assisting Tallgrass Title as needed. This role assists with data migration, data processing, document preparation, client communication, and case management while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with legal procedures.ResponsibilitiesProcess data in legal software and title software.Prepare and mail correspondence.Run errands in Manhattan, Wamego, St. Marys, and surrounding areas.Assist attorneys and legal support staff as requested.Assist Tallgrass Title departments as requested.Assist reception team as requested.Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with firm policies and legal regulations.Act in a stewardship capacity for the Company, work as a functional member of the team, have ability to self-direct and self-regulate work-day.All other duties and projects as assigned.QualificationsMust be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree undergraduate program with the intention of exploring a legal career.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and capacity to learn case management software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
