General Purpose Makes and serves guests delicious beverages in accordance with established standards and with hospitality and professionalism. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions. Stock bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages, assist in cost control, and maintain inventory records Assist department leaders with the creation of seasonal cocktails and the development of the menu Maintain inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicate with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager Perform opening and closing duties, which include, but are not limited to, inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize the Point-of-Sale system Review banquet schedule for changes, special events, and calendar updates Serve catered parties from service or portable bars On occasion, serve meals to guests Incorporate safe work practices in job performance Regular and reliable attendance Perform other duties as required At least two years experience as well as knowledge of liquor beer and wine. Must be customer service driven have the ability to overcome stressful situations. Preferred Requirements Mixology experience helpful but not necessary Physical Demands Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, tastes, smells, and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds. Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds. Certificates/Licenses ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
